I was told that some things there behind the scenes were dodgy as fuck. Allegedly.

I played a cup final there once when I was younger, so am sad to see them go.
Shame for them, but its been on the cards for many years now, on the cynical side though, at least its is over and we the taxpayer can stop having to let them off tax bills, because they have been a joke for the best part of a decade.

Most Chester fans are actually happy with todays ruling as it means Vaughn (the owner) is no more. This will allow the CFU (Chester Fan United) to attempt to create a new club which potentially will start 3 leagues lower than where they are now. As the gorund is the councils they should still be able to play there. Vaughn has really fucked the club up, the troubles there were highlighted a few weeks back when they didnt turn up for the game becuase the coach compnay refused to take them until they had been paid. Vaughn asked the players to pay it out their own pocket to whcih they refused and went home. They hadnt been paid for months at that time. Today, Vaughn is gone, and hopefully Chester will reform and the fans can have the club back.

It's for the good of the greater good. The bad Owner / Chairman is gone and the Fans can reclaim their Club. If there's space for them high up the Non-League pyramid then they'll be fine.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.

This guy Vaughn did exactly the same to Barrow AFC, my home town. He left them to get wound up. Luckily they were reformed and are now in the Blue Square Premier league. Thta's two good clubs he's screwed over and he should never be allowed anywhere near a football club again.
Good luck to the new Chester club.

Hopefully now he will fail all the 'fit & proper persons test' so he can never again have anything to do with football. What's this guys problem, is he on a one man mission to screw as many football clubs as possible? Or is he just the worse businessman in England?
