Lyon totally "stoke'd" it 2nd half after getting away with not being about 4-0 down in the first half, higuain had an awful game, as did Kaka and ronaldo - stoke, I mean, Lyon snuffed out their flair 2nd half and reaped the rewards

Kaka is a great big fucking ponce.

Giving the ball away time after time & chucking himself on the floor, eventually subbed when his team needs him in their biggest game. We dodged a fatal bullet there.

Also notice how Milan had the problem where the rags' obnoxious right back was allowed to wander down the pitch & pick out crosses at will because no fucker could be arsed even running ten yards to close him down?

Notice also some dozy twat being tackled by fucking Nani for rags' 2nd goal? Nani FFS!

What do these events have in common?

Clue: NO MORE FUCKING BRAZILIANS AT CITY, EVER.

I agree with both of the above posts.....what you get in terms of skill and ability is not worth the trade off you have to make for lack of fight, troublemaking, lazy application and having to mollycoddle petulant little bitches

Argies in: Brazilians out

Maybe having ten stars on the pitch and nobody doing the obscure work is NOT the way in the CL.

You just know they will find some dodgy piece of land to sell though.

http://www.sportbusiness.com/news/173584/reals-attendances-and-jersey-sales-fall?utm_source=sbinsl&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mar11

Real Madrid is selling fewer replica jerseys than Chelsea or Liverpool, and attendances at its home stadium the Santiago Bernabeu have fallen 7.8 per cent on last season.

And last night's Champions League exit at the hands of Lyon means it loses the chance to win up to $82 million in prize money, sponsorships and other revenue, according to Simon Chadwick, professor of sports business strategy and marketing at Coventry University Business School in England.

“Many people would have legitimate concerns the club will be unable to generate an acceptable return on their player- investment strategy,” Chadwick said, as reported by Bloomberg. It “would seriously undermine Real Madrid’s business model.”

Real Madrid generated more revenue than any other European club in 2007-08, the latest season for which figures are available.

However the falling attendance figures show it is not immune to the effects of recession. Amid a 19.5 percent unemployment rate in Spain, during the country's worst recession in 60 years, average attendances at the Bernabeu have fallen to 67,461 this season, from 73,157 last season. Adidas said that the lower jersey sales at Real than at Chelsea and Liverpool are partly because there is a bigger culture of replica-jersey purchases among English fans than their Spanish counterparts.

Fuck. It wasn't even very funny to start with, and by getting the first name wrong I totally messed that joke up.
