Just got back from watching Atletico in my mates bar - fuclin wank tonight - Lisbon down to nine at the end and we still couldn´t muster a decent chance - really miss Tiago as he´s cup tied but at least no away goal so I reckon we´ll get one second leg and make it interesting

Just been watching the extended highlights to Valencia vs Werder Bremen

Looks like it was a terrific match. Also, one player really caught my eye. Marco Marin for Werder. Bosnian Serb in terms of family but has represented Germany at U21 and senior level. Only 20 years old.....dunno what his league form has been like in general but judging that he has several senior caps already I'd say he looks like he has the right stuff.

Very dangerous on the ball, real pace and excellent close control

ps. also, great goal by the dutch horsefaced mune cunt for SV Hamburg last night

Marin has been in excellent form lately and it's a travesty that he didn't get a minute for Germany in the last 5 games or so. Someone needs to kick the diving habit out of him though.

Word!

Good player, young player, tricky player but someone who flies like an Angel when you are next to him inside the box......
He has to become more serious, more constant and more into scoring goals and then you´ve got a very very good player!

@Knappe
Penalty was ähem very lucky indeed!
