Played against him a few times when we were kids in Bury....it was like facing Diego Maradona at the time. Always tickles me (and illustrates just how good professional players are) that he made his name as a very good but no frills full back. He was bloody amazingly skillful compared to everyone else on show every time we played against him.

He's an utter cunt though. Never liked him as a character even as a kid. Ryan Giggs on the other hand was/is a really nice lad

Why start the type of thread you hate being started? BTW you might dislike certain threads and even find them unbearable, but some people don't carry on like you and want a discussion.

This isn't an NQDP forum where you decide what we talk about, this is football forum and if we want to talk about players' abilities we shouldn't have to keep quiet because it may offend you.
