I know he's a Rag legend and we hate the guy, but Johnson really does remind me of a young Ryan Giggs.

We have a gem on our hands here boys.

Out of the 200 million or so we have spent since the takeover it's ironic that such talent costs so little

Was thinking this today. Him and Kompany both cost under £10m. Probably our best value buys.

I wasn't really that impressed by him until today. He finally showed glimpses of what he is capable of.

Well done Mr Marwood.

Every week he proves that he is going to be a face in the future City revolution....

He is absolute class; guess Mancini doesn't see him as a International, yet.

I liked how after he scored he didn't really seem to know what to do. Ran around a bit, grabbed his badge, looked around to see where everyone else was, then realised Mancini was trying to get everyone back. Nice.

I think he's really gonna pay off in home games. He knows how to unlock the door. Shame he didn't start, in retrospect, but then he wasn't too good at Chelsea so I suppose SWP was a fair shout. 'Wise', 'after' and 'event'.

I was delighted we signed Jinky.

Now i'm double delighted we signed Jinky!

What a player, as he grows and matures as a player he is gonna be world class! The lad has everything in his locker, he just needs experience.

The guy really is the new Ryan Giggs... maybe even better ;D

If he puts the work in to perfect it, johnson's got the natural ability to deliver a ball like very few can. The way he slotted that goal into a foot of space in the top corner proves it. Imagine crosses/free kicks directed at people like RSC, Ade, Lescott with that kind of pace, accuracy & trajectory? Or Rooney/Crouch for England for that matter?

He needs to work hard & perfect it, like Beckham did, so he can do it time & again without thinking. Then, rather than being a one trick pony, that ability allied to his pace & dribbling skills would make him very special indeed & a 1st choice for City & England.

Agree absolutely
Another Peter Barnes
Don't mind the comparison with Giggs. Wasn't he on our books til Fergiscum stole him at 14?
