Messi

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Messi

While the media have their tongues firmly parked up Wayne Rooneys bum crack Messi just goes about it and has just scored a stunning hat-trick. Don't get me wrong Rooney is top class but I think this guy is the best player in the world. Sod spending a billon on a carpark and metro link break the bank and get this fella.

Genius of a footballer and head and shoulders above any player today, but he won't be leaving Barca any time soon. Would love to see him at City more than any other player though.

I know he would never come to City but you can wish. I love watching him play and actually like the fact that he gets kicked from pillar to post and wants to stay on his feet.

The thing is, like all truly great players, he makes it look so easy.

Don Mongini would have him on the bench ready and raring to go for an amazing "horse has already bolted" cameo in the last 15 mins.

I'd love it but I couldn't put myself of Leo through it.

Yeah but we don't need another goalie whereas it's plain to everyone that we could do with another couple of DM in the starting line up!

Messi does make it look very easy, real class

The thing I find funniest is all the fuss over summer about how many strikers we had, and look where we're struggling now?

Messi is the best player in the world by a country mile atm!

Last nights hattrick and general performance was out of this world, a beautiful player to watch, never plays ugly always plays the game the right way. An example for all young players to follow.
