The Derby...

Postby Beeks » Mon Mar 22, 2010 8:51 am

Not just about getting one over on our local rivals for the first time in how many years?

All i'm thinking about is 3 points

I genuinely think we will be fired up for this for that exact reason...such an important game for us and finally we are playing for something other than pride...

They aint scary like they used to be, and I know their stupid rag fans go into gamees with more trepidation these days. You could certainly feel it at The Swamp last time out.
It would be nice to fuck up their season still, whilst cementing our place in fourth..

Anyone see those Japanese tourists in the front row before yesterday's game at the swamp? And other tourists beside them. Fuck me what a load of wallies. Something I'd rather our owners try and avoid in the future.

Lets put all bravado aside for a bit and consider this will be without a doubt the hardest of the remaining fixtures. They are playing well and will be just as fired up as us, being firmly in the hunt for the title (unless they lose every game from now until april 17th).

we will need to be in great shape injury/fitness wise, Mancio will have to get the team spot on and the players will need to put in one of the best performances of the season. In no way am i saying we will lose or even that we should fear the cunts, just that it will be a very hard game to win.

I've tried not to think about this. I'm skint and can't make it.

I FUCKING hate being skint even if I know it's only temporary.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not sure about the first bit (highlighted) as I think the Arse away is tougher. Also fear spuds coming up to ours as we get fuck all off them normally, at least we have had "recent" success against the scum.

dont agree with that being the hardest game for this team, or Arsenal away. Spuds at home is a tricky one, but if we are set up right and attitude is akin to Fulham game then we will sweep spurs away.
The really really tough one is next.. Everton

as for the Derby, anything can happen of course, if we are all fit i rekon we will just about grab it.. if we have improved even more we might even pan them

I'm still crapping it, but slightly more confident because of the CCSF 1st leg. As long as we keep meatball head quiet I think we'll be alright.

I know my head might be up in the clouds on this one but just hear me out....

Do you think fergie , and the players would rather see city in the top 4 rather than spurs , liverpool or villa?

Even for the fans imagine being drawn against each other in the latter stages in a 2 legger wow imagine that!!!!

Would this have any bearing in the match?

Maybe i know the answer and know fergie would love to piss all over our season and win the title.

St. Austell, eh? So, remind me what part of Manchester that is again. It must have slipped my mind.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
