First televised match of the season that I missed and only because at match time I was on a plane flying back to Dubai and I see that no players rating thread is done.
Can someone oblige. Thanks

Given 6 - had nothing to do so cant give more than 6 imo
Garrido - 6 did ok, always concerns me in the air and that nearly cost us when Zamora headed down for Gera. Thankfully Toure saved the day
Kompany - 8 outstanding as he has been last few games
Toure 8 - Would have been a 9 but cant help but blame him for their chance near the end, perhaps harsh to blame him but he didnt stay with him, would like to see again thouhg
Zab - 7 made some good forward runs an was pretty solid
Barry - 7 starting to look the Barry we had at the start of the season, perhaps helped by Vieira
Vieira - 7 broke up play well
Bellamy - 8 set up both goals and looked a constant threat
Johnson 7 - created some great opportunities for himself and unlucky not to score
Tevez - 9 MOTM imo, another tireless performance and such a class finish for his goal
Sanata - 7 got the goal, typical pouchers goal and held it up well to take some pressure off our defence

What i liked about yesterdays performance was the way we pressed them an gave them no time on the ball. more of the same please city

Toure 8 - better than expected given the stick he has taken. Q good on the day in fact.
Kompany 8 usual self
Garrido 7 did very well all things considered
Barry 7 looks better these days
Vieira 6 looking better, moves in the right direction but still a bit slow on the ball at times. Seems to positively affect the team though.
Johnson 7 may have had a couple of goals later on with that left-foot curler from the right
Bellamy 9 Excellent
Santa 7 Getting better, completely shagged at the end
Tevez 9 Excellent

DeJong 6 ran round like maniac in front midfield when Santa went off. Missed sitter when if he'd fucked off out the way Bellers would've scored
SWP 2 Fell over a bit, missed sitter, piss poor as per usual these days

Seemed like this to me:
6 Shay.Had very little to do.Went wrong way for pen and kicking was as bad as normal.
8.Vincent.Good distibution and did his job well.
9.Kolo.Blocked a lot was in the right place most of the time.MOM for me.
6.Javier.To faraway from his man early on got better through the match.
7.Zabba.Didnt see him do to much but what he did he was quite good.
8.Barry.Solid in midfield and some of the passes he is begining to find Craig with are sublime.
8.Patrick.Like Gareth the two of them seem a good partership capable of going forward.
8.Craig.Some good runs and crosses
6.Alan.Quite game I thought.Looked fantastic when he was on the ball but not enough and he hit the post with a good shot after a nice bit of skill.
7.Rocky.Great first half a bit quite in the 2nd.
8.5.Carlos.Ran fulham ragged.Great goal try and find it.Maybe should be MOM.
None of the subs were very good

I think those ratings were pretty much spot on but a bit harsh on Shay IMO.

Zabba: 8 defended well made some good runs forward.

Toure: 8 really got stuck in.

Kompany:8 Quality.

Garrido: 5 Weak link at the back often caught out of position & kept running past Bellamy leaving him with no cover & no space.

Barry: 8 Got about the pitch well effecting the game in most areas.

Vieira: 7 Calm on the ball, helping us break, won some good headers but got caught out occasionally in dangerous areas.

Johnson: 8 Did loads of 'unseen' work tracking back helping Zabba & then came forward brilliantly 2nd half.

Bellamy: 7 Some brilliant moments & assists but wasted some great positions by lack of awareness.

RSC: 8 Kept getting the ball & giving it to our best players in good positions on the ground + scored.

Tevez: 8 Same as usual + superb goal.

Subs: DeJong: 5 ran about, stopped Bellamy from scoring. SWP: 3 Complete waste of space. Ned: didn't notice him touch the ball.
