Team & Tactics v Toffees

ive got a feeling this is gonna be a mega game, and i will be honest and say that feeling is mainly due to what happened at Goodison and the idea that Gollum has got a serious beef with us and will fire his lot up to rabid levels.
So what team? and what special tactics if any? ( i guess the team will be very similar to recent selections )
sounds a bit daft (edit: very daft), but what about sticking DeJong where he played when he came on at Fulham and leaving PV out.
Let him just sit there to break up Evertons deep build up play. Have Zabba and Barry sat behind him and playing past him with Bellers and AJ.

think we could do with Paddy's size in midfield to combat the likes of Cahill and Fellaini, especially now Lescott is out (fuck me i would have LOVED IT if he had scored the winner).

Would like to play the same team apart from I've got big reservations about Garrido & also not sure we can get away with just Barry & Vieira in mf due to their lack of pace. Agree Vieira's height could be a help & if he & RSC both play it would help defend against their set pieces.
This is the kind of game where we could do with 2 mobile alround midfielders but we don't have one. If we go for 3 in there, I suppose it'll be DeJong for Johnson unless RSC is injured. I'd play Ireland instead of Nige if we went for 3 in midfield & I'd be tempted to play Micah rather than Garrido, with Zabba swapping to left back.

How about Barry at left-back? Pretty sure he would better cope with Arteta than Spanish Gaz. Leaves a bit of a conundrum in MF though, as NDJ--PV would seem leaden.
damn M Johnno's knee, damn it to hell. Anyone know if Rocky will be ok?

We were fucking battered in midfield by them the last time out so that needs sorting out...not sure if NDJ is the answer in this game, if Im not mistaken he was outclassed by these munts last time out.
IMO we have to do to them what they did to us from the off........go all out and attack.

Major game and I expect it will be very tight. Mancini knows enough of them first hand + recent results to know they are a very good side. He has come out and said that we will be attacking but I do expect an element of caution in trying to ensure we control midfield. That's fine as long as we win and it can be as ugly a win as you like.

I'd play the same team and tactics apart from id swap Vieria for Ireland.

Id bring Vieira on if we are under the cosh and 1-0 up 15 mins left.
Otherwise we should just fucking go for it.

RSC is fine, cramp in both legs yesterday was the problem.

On what basis would you bring in Ireland (who has been off form for the whole season just about)??

Not many games involving Everton that don't end up being ugly unless someone gets a few goals against them. It's usually the same game each week with Everton. They either win draw or lose but it's shite whatever the result.
