Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Anticipating an 11am start I got there a little early only to find Ivan Carminati running laps around the fencing. He confirmed the start was noon and the press conference was 11. Apparently he and Mancini were seen last week doing about 5 miles around the fields as part of their own fitness regime.
They started coming out at 12 but as it was a slow gathering the Doc was involved again in some ball work. He is still struggling with his keep ups but today was taking some free kicks from the edge of the box.He definitely shouldnt give up his day job.
Everyone was out except Lescott ( still waiting on the results of a scan to know how long he might be out), Petrov ( started one to one training again) and Bridge. After the initial gentle jogging and stretching on the pitch in team formation they all came over and did 10 minutes or so of keep ball circles right alongside the fencing which was good.
The first team group were added to by David Ball , Scott Kay and Chris Chantler who had been helping the keepers providing crosses for them. The spirit in the group seemed excellent and there was some great banter in the circles as well as some very interesting challenges from players keen to win the ball back. Tevez was an absolute terrier and there were some challenges that made me wince. Studs up and face high on occasion. It sounds bad and like Sir Joey had been coaching but it was all in pretty good fun.
Good to see both RSC ( after leaving the field early v Fulham ) and Bellers out today given their history but both looking absolutely fine. They moved away after this to do some jogging and a few general warm up exercises before half of them called it a day leaving the rest to play a 6 a side game. The Fulham first team were the ones who finished with the rest giving their all in the football.
Ade took the eye for me.He seemed really up for it. Almost as if he realises he isn't a shoe in when his ban finishes tomorrow. He was on the same side as Stevie and they won easily with both playing well and scoring freely. But I did see NDJ hit the target even if it was a penalty. A few of them finished off with some shooting practice. Ade ,SWP,Ireland and Ball. Ade won this session with some excellent stuff

Stevie was up for it today and good to see him staying back for the shooting practice. One of the very few who played in a short sleeved shirt as well even though it was cold out there today.

oi! are you sure this is good for City letting out all this info, huh?
shouldn't you consider writing something more like...
some players came out and moved around with some manager. Some group of people on the 'player side' moved towards the fencing and someone kicked a ball towards someone else and it bounced off their head. I was 99% certain that the ball was not round and there were people on the 'player side' who ran around towards it shouting a lot..
Someone i have known for a long time and is on the 'management side' but is not a manager and doesn't work for any managers told me that in summer City were leaving the Football League to play in the local R*gby League.
im gobsmacked as i love City and dont like oval balls

is ade suspended? I was under the impression that a ban was for the next number of games already in the fixture list to stop teams slotting in an easy game. Everton was not in the fixture list at the time of the ban being issued, so if I am right he will be available tomorrow and then out again for the next game. Anyone got a rule book?
