Good news is Toure looked hungry on Sat. He and Komps plus Zabs, Richards, and Garrido and Slowvinho will have to make do. Maybe Gaz Baz at LB too at times?

bad news that, he has been quality since he came back from injury. toure really has to prove his worth now.

The script is he isnt a centre half, or at least isnt able to play centre half at the level we currently need. Id say Toure, Onouha and Boyata are all ahead of him in that queue. Micah's problem is between his ears as I fear his mind sometimes goes walkies in games. Obviously he can fill in there if we are really short, but otherwise it will be Kompany and Toure from here to May.

The main flaw with his game is his pace, v v slow.

Not too bothered Toure and Kompany did well before African Nations so providing they stay fit we should be good. Between them we hardly shipped anything. Five weeks is a long time though considering how longs left in the season..

He was going to cover left back though chief.

Ah good point unless Barry goes left back and De Jong covers the center? I think that would be our best option right now as Barry has filled that position when needed before.

Really bad news for us, lets hope he has a speedy recovery.
