The killer blow

To lose at home against a weaker side (on paper). To lose that little bit of extra confidence we had 'cause we were unbeaten at home. To fail to take advantage of our game in hand. To be outplayed. To be poor. To once again fail us, the fans.
But most of all the first two. After tonight rags, Villa and Spurs especially will come at us wiht more confidence.

It's not over yet but I feel we will not make it now. And I think this was not our only home defeat this season.

Failing to break down a team, which was without a recognised Centre Forward for 18 Minutes is more than a bit galling

That's just not true though. And, if in your opinion it is true, then it means absolutely nothing.

it is over. teams with specialised tactics like Stoke and Everton take out of us the piss all the time. We are not good enough to plough on and steam over teams like Chelsea and we are too rigid to adapt during the game like Mune.

Should we just throw the towell in now then? What a load of crap.

4th is still in our own hands, we can do it.

There is a long way to go. Lots of twists and turns. We can still make 4th. Villa and Spurs will not look forward to coming to City. Beat Wigan and see where the table leaves us.

Disappointing to lose to Everton and lose our home record.

Lets see the reaction now from Mancini and the team to deliver 4th place. We can do it, believe.

Exactly. We played poorly tonight and they ( Mancini and the players) will have to realise why and put it right in the next game and the ones after that.If we play as we did tonight for the rest of the season will probably finish 8th because we have plenty of tough games to come. I expect we will get it right v Wigan and things won't look so bad.

I second your opinion DH.

We'll now get it right. The cat (Everton ) is well and truly amongst the pidgeons ( Spurs, Villa and Scouse 1).
