Surely we will batter Wigan and improve our chances of a top 4 place won't we?

At this point of the season we don't need to batter anyone. We just need to get the job done. But agree there will be no excuses if we fail tonight.

Will we,won't we, would it really surprise you if we lost, not me, infact I think it's very possible, no one at the club is handling the pressure very well, and Wigan have a good record against us, so no counting the chickens from me.

I fully expect a defensive performance tonight and an extremely tight game. However we have far better players than they do so it should be an absolute home banker.

Usually I'm the loudest guy on the block but tonight I'm going to stay quiet and allow the players to entertain me and get me going. This will only be achieved by playing exciting, no-nonsense, win at all costs football.
The only excuse I'll except is if 'An act of God' is witnessed, and even then it better be an entertaining one.

Anything less than a win tonight is just not good enough, and if we do manage to lose this game it could be all over for us and 4th. Like people have said we don't have a great record against Wigan so it's not about going out there trying to batter them just get the job done lad's 1-0 will do me fine.

I don't agree here. I think (and have said so since early November) that 4th place could quite feasibly come down to goal difference. Therefore, we need to get a few goals under our belt to overcome Spurs. A 4-0 win tonight and a 3-0 against them should do the trick.

i think that Wigan desperately need the points or a point.
I think that We struggle against Wigan and our record is terrible.
i think that it would be typical City to let them fucl us up.
i think that all of the above disregards just how much frustration this team has over the loss to Everton.
i think we will take them apart slowly but surely with a very disciplined and professional performace resulting in a free for all towards the end.
i think there is no room for any excuses now
