West Ham Away .......lets nail that coffin

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

West Ham Away .......lets nail that coffin

Postby eastlands-lostboy » Mon Mar 29, 2010 5:21 pm

A long way away but it is on my radar. I feel it's time to go there and finish them off if its down to the wire. They came to Maine Rd some time ago and helped us on our way and I want to do the same to them. Forget all this "Academy of football" shite and "attractive to watch" tag they get...fuck em, lets send our own Italian assasin to sort out the man from Sardinia.

I've got no problem with them despite that game (lets face it we can hardly blame them, terrible season) and I seriously hope they stay up (despite their owner acting like a prize cunt in the press at every opportunity)

That said I hope they stay up but not at the expense of our top four challenge - lets kill 'em !

I'm the same as you Wooders don't have a problem with them, but if we need to win the game to get 4th and by doing that it means they would go down then so be it.

Three points is the only priority .

Though I would prefer Hull & Burnley to go. I think they will.

As much as I can't believe I am typing this, Ian Dowie is going to keep Hull in the Prem.

Burnley no doubt, but thereafter its between us and Wigan, so don't you even dream of failing to do them tonight.

I can see that Walmai, your down, we only need a 0-0 draw for 4th after beating villa, spuds, scum and arse away, and you beat us 4-0

If we can still stay up on the last day, Tevez will come down with a mystery injury...

...and Bellamy will send us down anyway.

Me as well - got a lot of friends that are hammers fans and all decent blokes - I think that there is a lot of empathy between CITY and West Ham - really hope they stay up

If West Ham go down then it's of their own making. They've been poor all season.

One thing that annoys me about their new Owners is their apparent "celebrity" status in the Media. Like they've a double act. Gold and Sullivan. They're just Football Chairmen. That's it. Not veterans of Cabaret in Blackpool.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

Yes, I agree. I'd pay for them to shut their cakeholes for a week to be honest.

They're almost as annoying as Garry Cook.

At least they know which team they're involved with!

To be fair though, they need to shut the f*** up, or if WH do go down, the fans will blame them for undermining the manager and players. Leave it to Zola and his players.

Most of us (not me actually) thought it was perfectly OK for them to issue their first 'rallying call' (which was a slagging off, in truth, but hey ho), but its transparently obvious that they are trying to force out Zola by undermining him.

As you say, it will backfire spectacularly when we are relegated.

I have already resigned myself to this. You can't lose 6 straight matches and hope to persuade even the die-hard supporters that we'll turn this all around. We are goners. Even Bolton and Stoke can double us. Good grief.

I respect your comment about the "rallying call" mate but I don't agree with it. I remember the hot rumours goin around our club when Franny was said to have been going in our dressing room and spouting off and I knew that it was counter-productive and so it turned out.

The Irons have always been a club that's thrived on having mainly local support comprising working class folk and your gates have always stood up to any inspection wether you were in the top division or the 2nd division, similar to our club. Your fans have always contained a bit of a hard crew reputation but not ones that took liberties with opposing fans.

My first priority is what we do but I would much rather some of the Bolton's of this world went down than your lot. We've been through the same shite situation as you in the recent past and I wish you all the best. I havn't really seen much of your games this season and recent results look fuclin dire but I'm sure your lads will keep behind em and there's a couple of teams around you that are pretty vulnerable so hopefully you'll just scrape out of it. Then we'll see if you have a few quid to spend to strengthen for next season cos you're squad is pretty thin from what I can see.

Good luck fella.

Cheers Burt. My personal view is that the Sex Dwarves are a disaster for the club, but time will tell.

Many will say that anything was better than what we had before, but there's something so devoid of class about Sullivan and Gold (well over and above their porn empire) that really grates with me.

I doubt that they will be splashing the cash in the Summer, even if we stay up.

But, as I say, thanks for the thoughts.

I for one, hope we aren't needing to nail any coffin closed on the last day.

I^d rather see Hull, Sunderland or Wolves go down.

I and many others on here understand and empathise what you're feeling right now mucka. It's fuclin shite when you have the upheavals that youre goin through and you see owners that like being in the public eye and givin it the large uns. Most of these twats are in it cos they have fuclin big egos. Meet em one to one without their backup and they'd be like little whingeing kids when you take their dummies outta their big, fat dribblin gobs.

I think that they've at least got a reasonable amount of dough in their coffers in comparison with quite a few other owners so they should make a bit of a fist of it if you manage to stay up so keep the faith mate (I know that's a churlish thing to say but it's vital that you all keep behind your lads) and you lads will be OK to build up towards a better future than you've had the last couple o years methinks.

If it comes down to that last game o the season and you deprive us of our Chumps League place and you stay up, then I'll be well fucled off but would rather it be your lot than the Bolton's, Wigan's and Hull's orrible shite that do the nasty deed.
