Hard to say it was against a City player but I am not biased when it comes to this kind of thing so I stick to it was a tad harsh.. Was a scissor kick though with two feet so my answer is it was a red but a a harsh red.

I totally agree. He went into that challenge hoping to hurt Carlos.

Close one to call. On the other hand it was dirty two footed challenge, then again it wasn't from behind nor was Carlos clean through.

A straight red? Don't know really. BUT it was deserved, without a doubt! How the fuck had he not been booked earlier is beyond me!!
And imo they can't whine too much about it anyway, it was a horrible challenge.

He actually went in with one foot studs up, but then followed through with the second into a scissor kick. For me it was red due to teh intent to hurt. If it aws clumsy it was harsh, but it really looked like he decided he was going to hack Tevez down.

He had his studs showing - ref had no choice.

Wasn't two footed, actually clipped the ball. Definite no.
But it's all elementary.

Definitely not. We'd be livid if it was one of ours.
Attwell's a shit ref anyway.

I thought it was harsh on first viewing but when you consider the follow through with his left leg i.e swinging his boot at the back of Carlos's legs, a red was justified imho.

I didn't think so initially as he got the ball and I'd of been livid had it have gone against us.

No way a red..Whats piseed me off more is those knobheads on ESPN saying Tevez should of got a straight red for the stamp, but he only jumped infront of the ball and was nowhere near the player....Pricks.

well, I think it was a straight red, or to be fair, it perhaps should have been at least his second yellow, he had a shocking game before being sent off I thought, the sort of playing I hate to see in the prem
