Been sitting in my garage since we moved house in 2005. I bought them when Maine Road went. I always intended to sink them into a concrete frame and have them as Summer garden seating. Our new house just does not have the right plot in the garden for them. So, what to do? Ebay, but what to ask for them? They cost me a lot when I got them.

I remember the security at the Southampton game. Did nothing to prevent gatecrashing. I shared my seat in the Main Stand as did everyone else around us. Must have been 40k in there that day. And City were shite as I recall.

EDIT: Actually think it might have been 0-1 to them...think i'm thinking of another game

Does anyone know how many seats were auctioned off in total, and how much they roughly went for?

That's the one piece of City memorabilia I would love more than anything. Unfortunately, I don't think I could ever afford it (unless anyone wanted to swap for a 2000-01 away shirt and a few Premier League 95 doubles).

I've got mine in the garage, season ticket holders could have their own seat for £10.

If you ebay them, they will sell for what they are worth. Just post your sale on a few city forums otherwise you will be lucky to get a tenner for them.

My mate has his in his garden, look fucking ridiculous and is considering selling his now.

Was funny that last home game, total free for all - people with screwdrivers everywhere pulling all sorts of shit down. The guy behind me was trying to melt the back of my seat off as he had forgotten a screwdriver. If the club had left us to it, we could have pulled the platt lane down by the time the bag of shit gig had finished.

The Pearce pen miss was v Pompey, the day we received the Championship trophy, a year before MR closed and the year whn Ali B was mesmorizing. I'd love to see that sort of football again.

Oops, My mistake. Too much time and hair loss since! Old grey matter ain't what it used to be! Still, I witnessed both - two for the price of one memory!!!
Still, he should never have missed in his last game for us!
