Oh FFS, what's the point.

Made me laugh, this.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Isn't it actually DaMarcus? What kind of name is DaMarcus anyway? Is he DA Marcus putting him above all the other Marcuses in this world?

Just wait til we do the thread on surnames. Then the funtimes will really kick off.

Slightly off topic but on a very similar theme. Can anyone remember the three Effin-Wanker brothers who playeed for us for many years between the 80,s, 90s ans early 2000s.
Their names were Youran, Heezan and one simply had the initial "U".

I checked the records but can find no record of them, though I distinctly remember their names being shouted often from the stands.

Peter's old man Ken was superb mate...they reckon that many players have been the best ucapped player ever and ken was in contention for that title. A very solid half back...remember what they were?...with plenty of skill....and tough as old boots.

Nelly actually got his name from the fans because initially he was considered a bit of a fairy. Scared of being tackled and frightened to head the ball. Those were the early days when he was a winger, on the opposite flank to Dave Wagstaffe. We saw little of his balance and poise. It was Allison who said he would turn him into the most graceful footballer in the country...and he did. He became an inside forward and could hit a ball hard and accurate. He scored a lot of important goals in a blue shirt and became a legend. He was treated shabbily by the club when he left, promised him a testimonial, then renaged on it.
