I was going to post about Almunia last wk when people where saying about certain City players who would not get in a top 4 team, well there is the GK of a top 4 team that wouldn't even get in Stokes 1st team. Just not good enough for this level as he does things like you have just seen and like what he did on Saturday.

I said to the young'en that Barca would win at all costs, and that the ref would give certain free kicks in certain areas. Being nearly 16 he doesn't go for all that crap but has just come in and said how bias the ref is with decisions going just the way I mentioned.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not getting him in to conspiracy theories, but it was good to that he came back to me on this one as he has to be one of the best readers of play that I know, even at his age (he is football through and through, plays 3 times a week and watches every single game on TV).

And for those who do not know, The lad is a Rag and wants all other English teams out of the cup. He actually wants Barca to win.

Not really mate, I just say things as I see them. Barca are real class and they shown in the first 20 just how good they are. However, I'd mentioned to the lad that I believed that whatever happened during a must watch game, that UEFA would want the best in there, just like his own. As I know and as he has told me, he wants Barca to win but still come back with the statement that he thought the ref had booked Fabregas unjustly and that he's noticed that Barca got decisions that put them on the front foot whilst Arseanal got the niff-naff-and-trivia.

Just an observation mate, however I might start a Ref Watch for our last games of the season ;-)
