Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Club BEFORE Cuntry every single time! And yes the spelling mistake is deliberate..... Despite being born and raised in England, I feel more strength to my Irish roots (My Granddad). I'm happier when Ireland do well, than when England do well. England just really piss me off with how disappointing they ALWAYS are once the get to a major torunament.
But more than either Ireland and England, City will ALWAYS come first...... CTID

Parallels to Sandman and his thoughts in another thread, but I'd be a mega hypocrite if I said club before country after all the stand up rows with rags when they've spouted off about not giving a shit about England. In my defence that was in the days when we didn't look like winning Div 3 never mind getting 4th spot in the Chumps. Having said that I'd still argue that today was Friday just to piss of those mongs!

Typical plastic paddy logic. Why should England piss you off and make you dissappointed at all if you 'feel' so much for your vague 'roots'?

City before anything within reason.
Thinking about it, England winning the WC is not within reason, but fuck it anyways. City in 4th.

WTF !! why do so many English make out they're Irish just because they have a brother, who has a mate that once bought a dog off an Irishman?? Fookin laughable!!
I have a mate that is like this, but with Scotland. His dad is Scotish, but apart from that he was born and bred in England. yet he hates England and follows Scotland in everything!! I think its a deep subconsciuos desire to try and stand out and be different. It really fooks me off though. We're always gettin on at him sayin "ya fookin English!!!! accept it ffs"

Personally I can't really understand people who put country before club and roughly 87% (going by the polls previous years) will agree.
seems like I missed by 4%.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

What he said.
When all is done and dusted, when City have packed up for the summer, then we
might take an interest in the world thingy. Until then it means fuck all.

Well for me the choice is obvious, being Italian and all ;) But really, even switching England with Italy I'd prefer City fourth. I've alreadys een Italy win a world cup once after all, but for City to come fourth, that would mean we really are on the right path and about to become very, very successful.
