Haha, like the fact that he got mentioned as a former Everton player & we got away with it.

What an utter shite the bloke is.

Funny thing is I reckon if he took his head out of the clouds and gave a fuck for a minute I reckon he could become half a decent player

errr

The Manchester City player continued his grand tradition of hosting a party almost every night since arriving in Turkey unperturbed that his behaviour had already been reported to the Old Bill

18 million (we didn't really have at the time) spent on a party animal who only plays football to fund his lifestyle

Definately something suspish about the deal

it terrifies me to think how much we'd have been relying on him if it hadn't been for the takeover. he's an absolute dick.

I'm sort of getting how Brazillian players work now...they slog their guts out to rise from the favellas by becoming extremely skillful...eventually levitatating themselves to the top clubs in the world and salaries to match...then they completely take their foot off the gas...job done in their eyes

look at the facts(juninho aside)

Ronaldinho
Real Ronaldo
Jo
and although not a party animal Robinho

All mercurial talents completely wasted at the top of their games

Dont worry, in good old Frank's way, it was a transfer fee highly linked to appearances and goals etc etc, we wont have paid anything close to 18 million, not that it would really matter now, however it would have probably finished us if we hadnt been taken over.

Doh! My brain must have blotted out the City reference. Hopefully one day I'll only remember him playing for us when under hypnosis.

I agree, he does have talent & with his physique he could be a player, if he wasn't such an arse.

Useless lanky streak of piss. A perfect example of how earning too much too young can turn a decent footballing prospect and no doubt a decent lad into a turd.

The most misguided purchase of a Brazilian footballer still has to go to John Barnes/Kenny Dalgliesh and sellick. They bought a player from Gremio called Rafael Scheidt (when asked the player himself said it was pronounced "shite") for £5Mil, a serios wedge then, after watching a couple of videos of him. He was fucking useless, made three starts and was shipped out on loan then on a free transfer a year later.

Also, Kleberson? Rivalled Djemba Djemba for being fucking useless.

I'm struggling to think of any Brazilians who have really done the business over here. Juninho did ok, Emerson not too bad. I've probably missed a couple but I can't think of any who have lived up to their billing.

I like the lad at Arsenal, Denilson, looks classy and I reckon he'll turn out to be a top player.

The only ones I can agree with there are Adriano and Denilson. What have the others done wrong? But it is strange how so many seem to lose it so young
