oh my god their are some hillarious posts on their!!!

one fan said even god felt sorry for them and tried his best to get the game called off.

this thread was a belter : what made me laugh...

1. The Longside - great atmosphere and banter in the circs

2. That people waited till 6-0 to go. Did we still have a chance at 5-0?

3. That Laws waited till half time to make subs.

4. That Laws waited till 80 mins to make the 3rd sub

5. That a pitch is safer if one team is winning comfortably.

6. That Laws and his staff seemed to be trying to get the 4th official to call it off

honestly every thread on their is hillarious! fair play to burnley fans seem like a top bunch!

fans are saying how they should have switched the sprinklers on at ht

really reminds me of how city fans where when we was shit :D, they are all praising tevez and saying how they clapped him off, reminds of when arse used 2 hammer us but we took it on the chin and aapreciated their class and skill

You know what, there is no need to take the piss for what happened today.

They were bad, really bad - but the majority of burnley fans are sick that they lost their manager. Their manager was the only reason they were in the premier league. The team are actually so shit - they shouldnt even be in this league to start with, but they had a top motivational manager

Most of them realise that and are happy to go down on the basis that they will take the money dpwn with them and come back stronger. Fair play to them as I would like to see Burnley there again

Well done to the Burnley fans who stayed & supported the team & I hope Coyle ends up with the sack, it will serve him right.

Yeah, spot on pal.

The guys i watched the game with were devastated, but they knew they dont belong in this league and they were big enough to say it. Fair play to them. Had they kept their manager I think they would have made it as he had them paying the right way and beat some of the bigger teams. They appointed a poor manager who does not belong in this league, I feel they have been let down - big time

Yep. I thought the Burnley fans (those who stayed anyway) were great.

"4:0 and you still don't sing" was funny as well. :)

And was it the Burnley or the City fans who sang "Fergie sign him up" when the Burnley player guy scored?

After the first poor souls had left the stadium I thought the Burnley fans were simply great. Singing, clapping, having fun and enjoying even tho their team had been crushed.

And this one made me particularly chuckle: "That people waited till 6-0 to go. Did we still have a chance at 5-0?"
Yeah seriously wtf - haha.

When you see Turf Moor, you think Championship/League 1. Its a small town. Unlikely to ever have the support/finance/facilities needed to stay in the Premier League. Lucky to get up with a decent manager. The manager they brought in to replace Coyle tells you everything you need to know about their expectations.
