With Pompey down who else do you think will join them?.Myself i can see Hull escaping so that for me leaves Burnley and Wigan to drop as i think West Ham will just about cling on.

Hull and Burnley I reckon.
Although I would love to relegate West Ham in the last game of the season, still haven't forgiven them for doing it to us.

If I could pick the 3 I'd like to see go down, it'd be Pompey (a given), Wigan, and Burnley.
In reality, I think it will be Pompey, Burnley, and Hull. Although I'd really like to see Hull stay up, for Jozy Altidore's sake.

When was that then?
You'd already gone down by the time we beat you in 86-87. Well at least that was what I always thought.

I don't know the year off the top of my head but your lot invaded the pitch and came running towards our end. To be fair there was no bother and you just chanted
You're The Pride of Manchester to us, which was nice, but it still hurt!

Yes.
I just checked; you would already have been down by that point... It was on of the last matches of that season.
Have a look. You flatlined in the bottom three for practically the last 25% of the season.
We'll be safe by then this season anyway.

Burnley will go.
I think Dowie is a bit of a tit so Hull hopefully.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

I remember it well, please don't remind me!
How I'd love Wolves to fall apart and the likes of Burnley to push on, but alas it will not happen. Looking at the table you've gotta say that Hull are the second whilst Clarets, Hammers and the Pie Eaters are fighting it out to stay up. Personally I'd go for Burnley just because I think Brian Law was thrown in at the wrong time.

Read about that in either 'lows highs balty pies' or some other city book, always had a softish spot for West Ham since.
3 to go down: Portsmouth, Burnley, Hull

Eh i'm 99% sure that his deal is just a loan, so he will be leaving england in june no matter what...

Pompey, Burnley and Hull. Would have liked Bolton to have gone down. Will be very disappointed if West ham don't stay up (despite the new owners).

Yes, you're right it's just a loan. I just like to see Americans going abroad and being successful. I know he probably won't be coming back to Hull either way.

Burnley and West Ham. Although the West Ham fightback against an in form Everton was enough to give them some hope, I feel.
