Ivica Olic wanted by Manchester City
Bayern Munich assassin wanted to torment United again
Manchester City could antagonise neighbours Manchester United once again this summer as they plan a surprise move for Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic.
The Croatia star was United's tormentor in chief over the two legs of their Champions League quarter final and his dogged style has impressed City coach Roberto Mancini.
City are blessed with good attacking options but they will overhaul their squad this summer and some star names will be sacrificed for players deemed to have better attitude and work ethic.
No nonsense: Olic
Olic fits the bill and Bayern would be willing to listen to offers of around £6m. He joined on a free transfer from Hamburg in 2009 and signed a three year contract but Bayern want to attract bigger names and will need to raise revenue to pay the fees and wages required.Olic, like Carlos Tevez, would be an instant favourite at Eastlands and would fit in easily with his selfless attitude.
