So many people were saying Arse would win and were putting it as a banker.

Spurs WILL NOT just lie down, they have got a top top manager and will push us right to our home game against them in what i feel is out hardest game of the run in.

And in my opinion, a top, top team, with strength in depth.

On the plus side, today proved to me that we can beat Arsenal in their own backyard. They were absolute SHIT today.

Don't panic Mr Mannering

The spuds still have to play Chelsea and the rags...then there is the small matter of them coming to our manor

We are still strong favourites

If you offered me a draw now I'd take it.

And so it comes to pass.

The season will come down to the Spurs home game and the last game of the season, in true City fashion. Some of the suggestions on here that we only needed another 4 or 6 points have now been dragged back into the real world.

On the plus side it should focus our minds for saturday as a win remains essential; winning our 3 home games should be enough.

i didnt think Spurs were very good tbh.. Arsenal were and are crap.. but still had most of the ball.

Nah, that result flattered Spurs imo, they wont get away so lightly against Chelsea

unfortunately for us the aresenal game came at just the wrong time. If they were playing hull or wigan I would have expected spurs to drop points after the weekend debacle. However, the north londonderby was the perfect game for them to have so soon after the weekend.

To be fair, spurs were very very good for 75 minutes and as soon as RVP came on he showed his class, they changed formation to try and stop him which gave Arsenal all the ball for the remainder of the game, but also gave spurs the counter attack option.

Arsenal were SHIT, bendtner is a pile of shite, he has scored 9 goals in the last 11 games but I would not want him within a 100 miles of City.

The race for 4th is deffo on now and I hope that the arse are well and truly out of the title race by the time we play them at the emirates to give us a bit of an edge. The WC is coming up and we will be 110% into the challenes and they wil be on safeguard mode, especially the very good precious players they have.

So in retrospect, it might not be that bad a result come the Arse game!

I don't care what Spurs do- at the moment they are behind us. I hope that after our victory on saturday ( I'm going, and I really don't care how we win, 5-2, 1-0 - don't care), Arsenal go on to lose again. So much so that our game against Arsenal means something, because we have the upper hand and if they carry on with their results we could possibly sneak third place. As i said on the thread of the PL when Arsenal played Wolves ,it was a damn shame Wolves couldn't hold out for a few more minutes....

i was the same at the Wolves result.
i really hope the Arsenal game does mean something.. im hoping that Wigan sniff their chance to get some safety points.
Going and slamming Arsenal after we beat the Rags would be just what the doctor ordered for this team and these players to make a big statement. I hope to see our two most professional performances of the season so far in these next two games, and i am confident City and Mancini are going to deliver.

I think we can safely say that Arsenal are out of the title race now. Even the rags look a little too far behind but you can never write off those jammy gits. Should we beat them this weekend City v Tottenham could remain the last big battle left in the league with Villa dropping points I think they are done and Scousers have been gone for weeks but too stupid to realise it.
