We just beat a club in the top half of the table 5-1 and have moved into a clear 4th place in the table and you still managed to find something to be miserable about. Very well done :O)

So you thought rags - Millwall was sound as a fucking pound then? That's the only final I refused to watch in past about 25 years, probably longer.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not to mention that I reckon most people already know what the outcome will be. I'll probably watch it anyway tho.

That's hard on Portsmouth. I'd rather watch this final (for the slim chance Pompey can hold out and nick a goal against Chelski) than some of the finals ManU have been in, which I wouldn't watch on principle.

Something we spoke about in the pub- Pompey can't get a UEFA licence whilst in administration, but if they find a buyer before July 1st (or whenever the UEFA registration deadline is due), could they still play in Europe?

I must admit I will have zero interest in the final this year. Will probably watch the Scottish Cup final instead.

yes, it was in their local press in March that they didn't apply as they weren't in a position to submit accounts that met the criteria. Definitely cannot play.

Does this mean there is an extra European place up for grabs? You know, just in case.

Yes. All qualifying will be based on the final league position which will now go down to eighth.
I think we can safely say we have qualified for Europe (without resorting to Fair Play) for the first time in over 30 years.

Well it was nailed on that Spuds would beat Pompey wasn´t it? So this final may be slightly more interesting than any RAG one, as some have said. Grant knows the Chelsea players.
