It takes a few minutes to ring the ticket office and upgrade it,bad decision.
I reckon pretty slim.

what a bastard that's ridiculous behaviour on the club's part, i've given my dad's card to loads of people that i've gone to the game with and never once has it crossed my mind that it could be taken off me. what is the club's reasoning for this, and how did they find out anyway?

Presumably there's a difference in price between a child's ticket and that of an adult?

Depends if the daughters was a junior card in which case he should have upgraded it to adult for the day - that´s the only reason I can think of for the club being harsh on this occasion

When a childs ticket is swiped it flashes a different colour on the turnstile.
You can get away with it,but really you should just ring and upgrade.

Yeah, I've done that, got in on one of the family's cards but if it's a child's card used by an adult it has to be upgraded. Costs a few quid for the difference in price plus the price of the phone call to the ticket office when you're on hold and they take an age to process the information. He has to hope they let him off with a warning.

Im sure you have to send evidence.
So a crafty wink and a cheeky smile wont cut it.

I got 18-21 ticket (didn't ask for it, the bloke at the box office just told me so) in January even tho I had already turned 22 couple months before.
But for the Liverpool and Manure matches they charged me the adult price. Strange.

tell him to go in the ticket office himself non of the phone bullshit where they can put him on hold and start shouting the fucking odds at whatever cunt tries calming him down, there'll soon give it him back. screaming and shouting at a manager infront of his staff and customers is always the easiest way to get what you want.

Say you`re sorry in person to the boss of the ticket office pay the difference and hide behind the fact you tried to upgrade on match day but they wouldn`t let you(which i find odd).

Pretty much what Simon says (get it?) Ask them what he can do to rectify the issue too - take the kiddy along.
Cry, Beg and plead - the Derby ticket is GOLD!
