Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

after nedums scintallating recent performances at right back, has he made a good enough case to make the position his own? Or should we be looking to further exploit the potential of Micah, who to be fair, has had more than a couple of good games at RB (a few stinkers as well)
Personally I feel we should definately be going with Nedum

Play him up front, he's the only player I've ever seen play a through-ball to himself and be quick enough to receive the pass and then score with his weak foot ;-)

I think it would be harsh to drop Ned on his recent form, but long term he is a CB and we need to stick with Micah who has potential to be a really top notch RB.
Not happy to see 'arry sniffing around Micah he can eff off.

Oh and just seen that Garth Crooks has put Ned in his team of the week.
In centre midfield.

In the long term, it has to be Ned. He is a clever feller and his decision making on the field is better.

I don't think ned can defend against anyone who's decent in the air wheras Micah can so I see it as the opposite; Ned RB, Micah CB.

Ned at the moment but in the not so recent past he had some shit performances at right back.
He is a quality player, and a fucking monster, fast, clever, he has it all. Apart from injuries he just doesnt seem "fashionable" because he is a down to earth youth player who supports the club. In an ideal world we would have room for him, but when they're all fit, I think he would be on the bench.

I think Onouha.
Neither Richards or Zab have impressed me on a consistant basis at right back and if there's one thing you can say about Onouha its that he's consistant when he stays injury free.
He should definitely start there against the rags.

Even when the debate has been centred on Micah or mad Frank I have consistantly said I think Neddy is a better option than both of them. Quick, clever and more than decent enough in the air for a full back.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

There is no reason we can't have both, Micah and Ned have both stepped in as a centrehalf before and I think Micah should be focusing his efforts on making that his primary position.

I think with Ned we are starting to finally figure out that question "who should be our starting right back?"

I'd personally drop Toure and stick one of them in the centre, with the other one on the right.

Difficult one for me assuming both are playing ok. I really don't think Nedum is a naturally good full back at all.His positioning is suspect and he does allow crosses at times which he shouldnt do. He can fill in there and he might develop into a good one but I see him best as a centre back.Yesterday there were some great moments though not least his "two goals" but also 2 or 3 great tackles.
Funny though when I think of Micah I can throw in much the same negative arguments. He does at times attack well but is usually headless at the end which Nedum was not yesterday. He does also switch off badly at times which is a major problem but then again he is a little better in the air.
For now it's the man in possession.
