Trying something new, I was trying to say it in a nice way.

If you don't think the best 5 players in the world are in there, then just list your top five.

Or make a poll yourself. Its been a while since you did anything of note anyway...

don't be a cockface to him. He just read like 7 (seven) paper books on holiday. Doesn't that count for something?

cheers

P.S. it is a rubbish poll tho mate. it's Vheroic in standard tbh. Just sayin.

Sorry mate, I tried to explain it in this thread, but obviously not too well.

at this moment in time I don't believe a defender or keeper would make it into the top five players in world football.

Obviously there are players a few people reckon would make it into the top five world football that aren't on the list, so I'll say the same to you - just give your list of the top five in your opinion.

If a name keeps cropping up in the top five I'll hold my hand up, but I can't imagine it TBH.

Ok then.

Messi, Lampard, Xavi, Torres, Fabregas.

Not Rooney or Ronaldo then?

Only buzzing with you Mr Pint.

I've been given out to before for not being on here on a Saturday night....

All in the name of jest, I still have deep feelings for you.

So when you're finished doing actual stuff, get all virtual and tell us YOUR top five players, of whom I'm sure are not on the shitty list I created?

Ronaldo should maybe have been in the list. Rooney's a good player but heavily overrated. Not among top five players in the world, despite being in good goal scoring form.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, who was at Old Trafford on Wednesday to witness Wayne Rooney’s demolition of AC Milan, says the England striker is the best player in the world.

Singing praises for Manchester City’s traditional rival Rooney, he said: “He is the best in the world with Messi.”

“He scores loads, works for the team and is intelligent all over the pitch. Rooney is their most important player,” Mancini said.

That none of the top 5 players in the world do play outside La Liga/The Prem doesn't make your list any less arbitrary/rubbish. Should confine yourself to starting topics when you can think of a good one.

That list, whilst having some clear favourites, also has a few votes for other players.

The fact that you've made several posts in this thread without listing your top five is a strange one.

Perhaps you should confine yourself to only posting in a thread when you know what your posting is actually a contribution, rather than a pile of shite whose only purpose is to pick holes in a harmless list.

If you thought for one second I was going to list 100 players around the world, then you must think I have absolutely no "actual stuff" to do.

I listed who I felt to be amongst the favourites. Like I said to you when you first started crying, please feel free to tell the rest of the class the players that would make your top five that aren't in my list?
