Craptastic Interviews?

Postby DoomMerchant » Mon Apr 12, 2010 4:22 pm

Seriously, how shitty are Mancini's pre and post-match conferences in terms of content?

i always find myself feeling like i'm talking to Don Roberto and he's telling me something wise in an even-metered tone, doled out with a foreign tongue where i'm half-cheering at his understanding of the question and his ability to respond in something pretty much like English, but at the end of the day he says fuckall of anything, ever.

Who's with me? Who misses the cliches of Hughes like i do? i just need a fuclin "good value for money" or an "at the end of the day" etc

cheers

Well, I always reckoned post match interviews are PR bullshit and not to be taken too seriously, but Mancini is getting noticed for having the most boring interviews and I don't think its down purely to a lack of English.

He looks the same after a defeat as he does after a victory and he says exactly the same things.

I do like to see a bit of passion from time to time, but "at the end of the day, "in this moment in time", the cunt could whistle dixie after every game and I wouldn't give a bollox as long as we win.

I said from day one he was pretty good at saying nothing and personally I see it as a good thing.I thought mostly Hughes and Sven were very similar. The interviewer is always looking for the manager to commit to something and say something he shouldnt and I wouldnt be at all surprised if they get some coaching in how to say nothing.

I would fucking love to see Mancini in a mickey mouse outfit after the game that would be funny as fuck! At least when we lose though he does an interview unlike Baconface who can't even show his face.

Lol yeah it would be.. er.. something else!
Tbh I did have this concern when we appointed him but apparently he has always been like this and its one thing that the fans at his previous clubs used to dislike about him. At the end of the day I'd rather have Mancini as he is that some tosspot who cant manage but runs his mouth making excuses after ever game. Plus he has a lovely smile.. I'm sure you all agree.

He does seem to hide his emotion I think. Is it what you call 'Aloof'?
