Important derby ticket information

Postby Moonchesteri » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:04 pm

All supporters are asked to please note that as a result of increased security requirements, duplicate tickets or membership cards will not be issued under any circumstances for Saturday’s clash with Manchester United.
Supporters are kindly requested to check to ensure they have the relevant match tickets or membership cards (e.g. Seasoncard, Citycard or Accesscard) before setting off for the game.

We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

I am slightly worried here now.

IF there is going to be a problem with our Citycards on Saturday (tickets have been bought), ie. we just don't get through the turnstiles like has happened before - does this mean we won't get a new ticket from the box office and therefore we won't get into the stadium even though we have purchased the tickets already?

If that's the case I'm shit worried because it has been probably around 33% chance there WILL be problems with our cards.

As long as you've got your original ticket, you should be alright. What they are saying is that they won't re-issue if you haven't got it with you as someone may have got hold of your details.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

If the Accesscard is faulty or hasn't been activated then it's City's fault and you'll still be let in. If you forget the Card then you may as well go to the Pub!

This is normal procedure for derby games not issuing duplicates because of the scams that people try and pull. If you been sent a paper ticket or a reciept bring them with you as proof just in case there is a problem with your citycard.
