Training Thursday 15/4

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Thu Apr 15, 2010 2:41 pm

Given a bum steer today as I was told 2.30 for training and it was just after 1 when they went out. Good job I was there early to see the end. Everyone was out today including AJ who I was told was particularly impressive.

Sadly though they were across the other side so good viewing wasn't easy.At the end Tevez had clearly been a naughty boy and stayed back for some finishing practice along with Garrido. The only others who hung around were NDJ and SWP but they were practicing their egg chasing skills!

I didn't bother with steps today and when I got in the usual place all the other stuff to stand on had disappeared! Removed by City no doubt and that after all the inventive building skills of Walshaw Blue yesterday.

I went round to see Mike on the gate to see about future training and saw a few of the players picking their car up after a valeting and was lucky enough to catch Mancini and get an autograph. Strange when I asked him about a pass he indicated he didn't understand and his driver ( Jose the interpreter guy) just put his foot down and drove off :)

Steps stayed in the car. Tomorrow will be a light and not very long session I am sure. Warm ups a bit of tactical maybe and some head tennis for maybe an hour if that. Scheduled start time is 12 but what do I know.I will no doubt be there early to get some exercise.

Very impressed by your report yesterday Daz , are you sure it's not you that does the regular reports on the Brisbane Sprinters ( is that the right name?)

I'll let Fuey know and see if she wants to take me to the lakes district for a romantic drive instead.

More disinformation from City!

I'll let them off if we win the derby with some secretly crafted tactical masterstroke.

Fuck me!
Is there nothing at all that they have to do for themselves?

I'll happily volunteer to service their wags ......

How is Bridge looking in training Doug, do you think he is fit enough to make the side on the weekend?

Would feel much more confident with Bridge keeping tabs on Valencia, i think Garrido could struggle with him if hes playing left back saturday.

He's looking fine and ready to play and as Mancini mentioned him specifically I expect he will pick him. Imo he was ready for the Brum game but Mancini thought we could manage without him and let him get another week's training in.
