I have to admit I was close to giving in, particularly when I saw last night that my passport had fucking EXPIRED IN MARCH!!!

But fuck it, it'll take more than a volcano to keep me from being there.

I'm on the boat to holyhead tonight and I'm taking the car. I'll be arriving in Manchester about 3:30am, any ideas on how I'll get parking because the hotel I'm staying in doesn't have any?

What hotel you staying at.

The fabulous Gardens hotel mate. I don't know how they got the bed in the room.

Anyway, no parking I don't think... what you think?

Car Park on Dale Street isnt expensive for 24 hours.

Maximum 8 notes for a whole weekend, its not a multistorey but its covered by CCTV and has staff there from 5am till 6pm.

Safe.

Ps the gardens hotel has had a makeover, its ok now.

Pps see you tomorrow.

Pppppps mate - if there's no staff where the fuck will I put my car at 3:30 in the morning when I screaming for some shut eye??!

On the street till 8am.

Feel really sorry for anyone who cant make it. If anyone cant get over, but the tickets are over here, I need two together if anyone wants to sell. Sorry if this sounds a bit opportunist.

Morning Chaps...Airspace in Scotland and Manchester has now closed, so I won't be over today.

I hope everyone who is going has a cracker and I'll be there in spirit at least.....Give the lads a roar on from me!

That's it, last chance gone.
15 of us were to travel from LIsburn.
3 are driving from Stranrear overnight and have to race off straight after the game, the rest switched to Flybe who were making all sorts of hero sounds of getting Britian flying again but that seems to have just been a lot of hot air.
So the derby curse strikes again - we were to travel to the snowed off Cup game :(
City owe us a big result today - get into them!
City are coming to get you!

Although I do feel for all those who can't make it (including myself I'm at a fuckin wedding!!!), it's great to see Dazby saying "So sorry you couldn't get here....."

Enjoy the day mate.

Here in Copenhagen no flights - not looking good for our return to Alicante tomorrow morning - found the footie pubs in Copenhagen - at least 4 within striking distance of hotel so will give them a check half an hour before to see if theres any blues or at least find one with few or no rags! Might take the option of a trip down to Holland to get a Ryanair Mon from Einhoven or Maastrict - keeping all options open

I think all of us who are lucky enough to be going today owe it to those who can't make it to make up for their absence in terms of noise and support.

Well what can you do.

It's just simply RIDICULOUS that I miss my first derby AGAIN. First the "worst" snowstorm brits have seen in 30odd years and now a bloody Volcano! Mother nature must really hate me.
