Carl Tilson will receive his Mancunian of the Year Award at pitch side tomorrow, having beaten both Ryan Giggs and Sir Alex in the poll this is a great opportunity for them both to "see what they could of won" Lets all give him a rousing chher and a chant of:

Carl Tilson is Super Manc....

If we found a thread on redtwate claiming that RagMcMunich had made a petition with less than 200 signatures and that was the sole reason they signed Ronaldo back, we'd pull the fucking piss out of them for days. Harsh maybe, but not unwarranted.

I'm with Slim on the accepting the credit for signing sweep back thing, ridiculous moment
well done to him for the award.

Why was he given it though? Does he do lots of charity stuff or something ?

Well to be honest I was unaware of the whole SWP thing. What exactly happened?

I only know that he is one of the lads from vitalfootball manchester city.

I thought he was a tool as well when he came on here and started acting up, but I should probably give the guy a chance. I guess I would be a tool as well if I suffered from a decease as horrible as his. Plus, the charity he's organised is quite impressive.

he was a tool and i know first hand that the club told him to STFU.
but its nice that a kid suffering like this gets some sort of reward for what he deals with on a day to day basis.

Wait a minute, isn't the lad going through a disabilitating disease and raised loads for charity?

he started a "campaign" trying to get the club to sign SWP again by getting a petition together. His methods of gaining support were, however, quite abusive and impolite, and if anyone questioned whether a petition signed by fans really would influence the club in their decisions, he got really nasty about it.

In the end I think he got a list of 100-150 names of fans who wanted SWP back. When the club finally signed him, he came on here to gloat about how he had brought SWP back to Manchester...
