He didn't even come on did he?

Edit: Sorry just checked he came on in the 90th min.

That's what I mean...keeping him on the side was a big surprise

I can only agree with this. I don't think VP is still really fully fit and that they don't want him to ruin his World Cup as well.

They blew their title chances on wednesday . So it might make sense for them to let VP only play a bit role for the team until the world cup comes along.

Agreed I now think now the title race is over for them they won't risk rushing him back to games now and will rest him rather than playing as they know they are definitely 3rd and the titles gone. Nothing to play for so no doubt Wenger will give some of his kids a run out. It's absolutely fantastic news for us.

Well if Wenger plays the kids next week you can be sure they will play without fear. Should make it a good, open match, probably end up 4-3 to somebody.

Game Over

Portsmouth 1-2 Villa.

A win for Villa on Wednesday against Hull puts them a point behind us, there still in this since they have the easiest run in.

Nah they would have to win 2 more than us to do it really and then beat our Goal differnce and looking at that there GD is +13 and ours is +27 so unless we take some fucking terrible beatings mate and they do use on goal differnce they are pretty much out of it. I mean sure we are only 4 above them but spurs are 6 and 4th is what we are talking about here.

So basically only way they can come 4th is if both we and spurs lose 2 and draw 1 and they win remaining matches. I seriously doubt those results...

Well i watched Pompey v Villa and i really dont think Villa are that good well not good enough to win all their games anyway. At times a very patched up Pompey ran them ragged especially first half.

With Torres out tonight for Liverpool's game against Westham, do you think the Hammers can get something out of this?
