it hit his shoulder, and he made a good attempt to take his arm out of the way anyway

shoulder or not, we've seen em go both ways, With the distance the ball travelled trying to take his arm out of the way is no argument imho. i just think we got out of jail with this one.

Eh? What?

Branny, the ball hit his shoulder, this is perfectly ok and its not a foul or an offence of any kind. How did we ge out of jail? You mean the ball nearly hit his arm and therefore the ref could have mistaken the situation and made a wrong decision?

Maybe i'm mistaken, only seen it once but looked like it hit his arm to me.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I have no recollection whatsoever of either incident. What's that all about?

Get a grip and take you blue tinted glasses off. I fucking hate Gary Neville but he hardly touched Barry at all and Barry looked like an idiot going down like that.

yeah because every penalty ever given was for a flying kick to the face, neville made contact and anywhere else on the pitch would have been a free kick but the ref didnt want to make a game changing decision. it was obvious from very early on he was gonna bottle it not just with them but with us too. it took him far too long to get his cards out. if barry hadnt gone down like he's been shot he would of had a better chance of getting it though.

Let's be fucking honest here, it was one of the better refereeing performances I've seen all season.

It was nothing like a fucking penalty. If it had happened near the center circle Barry wouldn't even had fallen down. I was actually screaming "get up you dick" as he fucked up a good chance with that shit dive.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Quite right NQDP. Not as much a penalty as Bridge´s arm in the first half. Ref was pretty good all things considered. We lost that one ourselves.

I have noticed our Players going down under a challenge and immediately looking at the Referee as opposed to playing to the whistle. I really hate that in Football.

I'd rather lose a Match honestly instead of winning by cheating.

Barry should have made more of a great oppurtunity rather than going for the dive to be honest

Wasn't Ireland making a run as well or was that when Bridge produced that weak shot right at van der Sar?
