Nine English Teams In Europe Next Season?

Now that Portsmouth have been knocked back, it will mean the top 7 will all qualify together with Fulham if they win the Europa League. The 9th team will be a result of us winning the Fair Play Competition - currently Burnely are in pole position!

I heard a whisper that the team winning Europa didn't qualify for it by dint of winning it (as strange as that may seem) and that the rule was changed when Sevilla won it, but also junked it off because they qualified for CL.

Hardly a matter of direct importance to WHUFC, but there you go.

I'd never knock the Fair Play thing because it's got us in to Europe twice in recent times.

Good luck to Burnley, then.
