Awful, these tackles always look a lot worse than they actualy are though - not in terms of the consequences, that's obviously terrible, but the intent. Not saying it's right but we see a few of these each season and I'm convinced that there is very rarely any intent. In this case the attacker was trying to block the ball and when he realised that a collision was likely he turned away and left his leg in. A cowards challenge, probably a forwards challenge (don't know the player) but not necessarily a malicious one.
