Look what happened to Sweden's reserve keeper last weekend. Surely fouls like this should lead to at least a couple of seasons suspension? It's just as bad, if not worse, than Thatcher's "challenge" on Mendez.
NB! Not for the squeamish.

A life ban would be more realistic. Disgusting.

They're the worst, those ones where it looks like the victim's trying to kick a welly off. Bloody horrible.

On a side note, Kragl (the perp) only got a yellow. I guess Austrian refs are even worse than English ...

Fuck. I'm a little bit toasted at the minute and I just clicked into it without reading your warning.
Now I'm toasted and a bit freaked out :-{}
Definitely should be banned for a season.

Doesn't look intentional to me to be honest. Just looked like he turned to save some ball pain and followed through with his momentum.

Aye, that's what it was then - a simple avoiding of ball ache.
You can never berate a man for wanting to avoid ball ache.

True though Dub. Anyone thats played footy has jumped at someone like that keeper in their footy time to block a ball. it happens all the time.

Well, to get that turtle head going. I think your way off. He was very very late, and there was no reason what so ever to go into the situation with a stretched leg and sole up. He probably didn't intend to hurt him as bad as he did, but he certainly wanted to give him a good bashing.

That would certainly put a man on edge.
Shit in her hand bag and she won't take as long in the bathroom from that point on. It works a treat mate.
