Surely means that Joe Hart is not going anywhere next season right?

It depends what exactly he's done to himself. I'm sure the club will let us know as soon as they know.

If, as I suspect, he has dislocated his shoulder then hopefully he will be available next week.

More importantly, who will be playing for the rest of this?
How long is Taylor our for? Can we recall Joe now?!!? He's OURS ffs! :D

How do the loan rules work? Can we recall Joe, or is there some penalty for doing so?

Can't recall players who out on loan for more than 3 months I think.
ESPN apparently mentioned that Given could even miss the beginning of next season although I think that is very unlikely. It did look really bad though, I don't think it was "just" a dislocated shoulder, Given was actually crying at one point.

I'm in denial mate. It's the only way I can cope.

He looked in agony to be honest.

I'm not 100% sure (only 99%), but I don't think we can call him back. It's a season loan, and Brum would've been crazy signing a contract saying that we can call him back any time we want ...

Dislocating a shoulder can be very very painful though.

From the looks on his face, Shay's going to be out for the rest of the season I reckon. Even a dislocation will fuck him up for a while, there's no way he'll be fully mobile after that.
The young lad didn't looked fazed at all when he came on, but I would like to know if we have a clause in Joe's contract that we can call him back at any time.

It's not unheard of to be given special dispensation to sign a 'keeper outside of the transfer window in a case like this.

True, but I don't think it would bring a grown man to tears (not Given anyway) and needing Oxygen.

I think outside of breaks, shoulder dislocation is one of the most painful injuries "available".

its not unheard of, either is signing an unattached keeper, chelsea had a similar problem and nearly signed magnus hedman. Regardless we will prob have to sign someone to back up Gunnar just not sure whos a free agent if any available? Arason??!

Bottom line is, this scare should be enough to convince the club that Hart must remain at City next season.
