Ivanovic is an odd choice.
and surely fat frank lampard must be in there after scoring 20 goals this season.
Other than that i pretty much agree.

I always maintained that Dunney should have been selected four seasons ago, when the ManUre back four was selected, en bloc, but I predicted a couple of weeks ago for him to partner Vermaelen as the best two CBs for this season: the fact that the 'usual suspects' of Ferdinand, Terry, and Vidic were either below par or injured for most of the season made their selection a 'shoo-in'
Of our players I think Tevez and De Jong must have been there or thereabouts
(or should have been)
Bellamy's form has tailed off in the last couple of months

If voted for in Feb - how is Valencia ahead of Lennon?
When the football writers do their awards you can expect scholes, neville, giggs, camelface and vidic to be in

There's always a smattering of rags & a few players who make the news in the PFA awards. Don't think half of the players even think about it. Just go with what the TV say. Arsenal's defence has been hopeless yet Vermalen gets in becuse he got in the news for scoring a few goals. Dunne was guaranteed as soon as he left City. It's was what everyone wanted when the season started & no matter how many big games he fucks up he gets praised for it. If Lescott had turned us down & won a few routine headers/tackles, he'd've been on 'hero' status & got in there. If Tevez had been a rag he'd be in.

Fairly ironic the two "city" players that made the team are the two that were kicked out at the start of the season. hmmm

On the rest of the team. I'd have given top keeper to Given instead of Hart, I think hes saved far more points for City than Hart has for birmingham. Centre backs pick themselves, Ivanovic is probably the right choice. Thought Evra was a bit off form this year by his usual standards, maybe cashley deserved it instead?
Fabregas is an obvious choice and Fletcher/Milner probably did enough in particularly good seasons for them. Valencia there is a bit odd, thought he struggled to settle a little this year, though not a lot of strong alternatives.
Front two pick themselves.

How's Cesc Fabregas done this season from someone who's watched him playing a lot?
Genuine question as I personally think he’s one of the most overrated players in the Prem.

Nice goal tally and a crazy amount of assists from what I can remember. I think its 15 and 15 or something. Very well in other words!

i don't think so...he's always posted complete and utter bullshit here, hasn't he? Am i confusing him with someone else? just read the tone of his message dude...it's garbage. Sorry. I'm as sad as anyone that we forced Dunne out for whatever reason...and i'll take a critical message from a respected poster on the board about it, but for some reason i don't like the tone of the message from Smurf.
Happy Monday everyone.
cheers

His season has been mainly due to the work of Song - Song has to be one of the League's most underrated players this season from what I've seen, his consistency has really improved. If we hadn't got an abundance of coverage for his position I'd have loved to see us nick him from Arse.
