Premier league claiming its too much of an advantage to have Hart back, what a sick joke.Hes our player and a club should have the power to recall one of their own in such circumstances as we find ourselves in.

If we end up with Fulop i have to say its not going to fill me with confidence.

I'm a little bit more apprehensive about this than I was yesterday having seen how many goals he's let in for Sunderland this season.. can't remember the actual figure but it was a fair sum including 7 at Chelsea. Ah well, attack is the best form of defence and all that!

Ok so after posting that signing Fulop would not fill me with confidence i notice the above post is confirming the deal.
Not sure about this at all,he may be playing international football but has not started a league game since 2007 when he was on loan at Leicester.(according to Wiki)
Best of luck to the lad but surely we could have done better.

He is. And if I remember the Chelsea game correctly I don't think any of the goals were his faults, if anything he helped Sunderland not concede even more than 7.

Am I the only person that doesn’t think its right that we re-call Hart?

The rules state that we can sign a keeper in an emergency. Well we have a keeper who was deemed good enough to sit on our bench for the past 6 games who has been on our books for two years. The fact that we don’t think he is good enough is our fault. Not Birmingham’s or the FA’s.

We should be allowed to get someone in, but to sit on the bench only.

I think he's played about 15 games and conceded about 30!

We are all just pissed off mate and are looking for any excuse to bitch.(well I am) and I think that annoying cunt Alex McCleish whining for the last 2 months about wanting us to agree to Hart staying there next year has Irked a lot of fans.

In hindsight he should never have gone out in the first place.

I agree in principle Ross however the difference here is that Joe Hart is our player. If that is the case it should be down to the clubs involved in the contract rather than an outside body making a decision if it was fare or not.

One question you could ask is 'Would they have had the same thought process if he had just let in 5 against us?'.

Hart going out on loan has helped him become a better keeper than he would have done as back up to Given. we will get a much improved keeper back for next season.
