Inter are actually one of my only two "proper" overseas clubs that I semi-follow

We have a house in the north of Italy and all my family's Italian friends were from Milan but Inter rather than AC (this was in the era of the great Gullit, Van Basten, Rikjaard team and, as a consequence, to my young mind, AC Milan represented the success of United (admittedly this was retrospectively not a glory period for the munes but they were still picking up way way way more silverware than yo yo City)....so I chose Inter willingly).

The only other foreign team I follow is AJ Auxerre as a result of a period living there during their halcyon days under Guy Roux when they won the league cup double and were in the CL. Class

Since I started following them they have been a bit more unsuccessful (story of my football supporting life really!!)

Even if I didn't have an emotional tie to Inter I'd want them to win.....I like Jose and his anti-football in the face of some brilliant footballing sides in the CL....not pretty but it is quite amusing

You use the 90 minutes to scout out Milito, Ribery, Sneijder etc so when we are linked with them in the summer you can post how they played.

Just do the opposite to the ITV commentators mate. Their blatant bias toward Barca had me rooting for Inter the other night. Horrendous coverage.
