Does anyone wish we could go back to the old Umbro one? Or even the really old Manchester crest?

I have to admit I really don't like our new one...I mean...the eagle is shite...and I get constant shit off rags for those stars...I mean WTF are those stars about? it's a joke

The stars are for every decade we've gone without winning a trophy. Use that and they have no comeback.

I'm not so much arsed about that Dazza...more the fact that we have them in the first place...that someone came up with the design...and then that someone at city said...'That Looks Great'

I mean come on!

I'd welcome a change in crest. Don't really like this new one. Isn't there a supports club that have got one as their logo that's similar to the old one?? I remember seeing one and it looked really good.

Which particular old badge is that mate?
The old badge that replaced the previous old badge or the previous old badge that replaced the one before it.

I kinda like the the one that had A.A.F.C. on it. Looked very classy that one.

The 'new' badge that we have had for 13 years?? I think its one of the nicest badges around . Everything on it represents something to do with Manchester, bar the stars..

The badge pictured above is way too old fasioned and the last one is too retro looking..I cant see how some dislike our current badge,

I had two United fans asking about the stars today 'cos I had it on a golf shirt. They thought it was hilarious when I said they stood for nothing but decoration and I just found them sad. I have no desire to change our badge to suit anyone but ourselves. Certainly not because I get abuse from United fans. F**k them.

I like our current badge. The previous one was too "English" I think. Even more so today. I don't want us to lose our roots as a local club but we are now a global brand and an eagle is more fitting than a rose.

Agree entirely with this, no wish to see our current badge change as I think it's one of the smartest in the leagues at the moment. Others we've had are way too old fashioned to bring back

Hate it. The eagle, stars, and that daft Latin motto, it's all too cluttered and a case of trying too hard and claiming to be something they've not yet become. And when City do make it to the top it won't be right because the best teams, the truly successful ones, can afford to keep their badge simple and let their results speak for themselves. Even from a purely aesthetic point of view it's too fussy. Any advertising person (though I'm not one) knows that simple is good, like the Nike swoosh. Looking at other football clubs' badges there's an elegance about Arsenal's cannon, Tottenham's cockerel, even Liverpool's liver bird that this star-spangled monstrosity doesn't have.

This has been done millions of times and I've always said that I dream we will eventually go back to old (don't listen to John) crest.

And yes, I've always thought the starts were hugely embarrasing.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
