Hang on. I'm just saying he played shite today and his end product is driving me mad. Just because he scored from 10 yards out doesn't dispel all that happened previously.

You aint got a clue..Go back into the shadows where you belong.

Got to pull you up shawzy..Bellemys work rate was spot on..his delivery on his crossing and corners was abysmal and overall play was average at best.
His goal was great but considering he had time for a coffee and donuts I expected him to score it.

SWP deserves all the credit for our 3rd as he made that goal and getting past 3 players in the process.

Spot on mate can't believe how many corners we had and didn't get a single chance off any of them.

Whilst Bellamy's set pieces were terrible, I think it was the fact that their right back had an absolute stormer today that stopped him producing today.

Kompany switching to Carew was a smart move, Cuellar was killing Bellamy on the outside, Ashley Young was in the pocket of Zabaleta and didn't seem to get into the game till he moved onto Bridge.

Hell of a game, AJ creates two goals and still I think Zabs was our MOTM.

Strange reading back through all the Vieira abuse as well, I thought he was one of our best players today.

Great result! No one else will think so but us, of course (Jeff Stelling was just telling all and sundry what Spurs need to do now to claim 4th), but who cares. Sets up an epic on Wednesday. Well played lads.

Have to say today he was really good. Looks like he is finally adapting again. Just in time.

Agree I thought Vieira had a good game today. Maybe he's finally match fit?

I've been one of Zab's harshest critics, and deservedly so, but there's no doubt but that he's improved beyond all recognition since Mancini arrived.
I hope he'll be rewarded with a place in Argentina's World Cup squad

that was a good win although we need the players to bring their A GAME against spurs cause i don't expect them to play on the counter. oh and our set pieces were down right awful hopefully mancini will work on it. let's go city to champions league and beyond!!!

Vieira's best game today by far.

He's old and will never be able to do a 38 game season, but he is a big game player and it showed today. Composed, very calm and controlled the midfield like the player we know he can be.

He was one of our best as far as im concerned. He put in a powerful performance, he won the ball well today and he passed the ball around very nicely.
We all know hes slow but his all around play made up for that today.
Unfortunatly on other days that has not been the case.

it depends how many 'best players' you have.
He read the game very well, and made some telling interventions,.....and offensive passes.
But his lack of pace could prove costly

I think that's the reason we got him. To calm relatively inexperienced squad in games like this. And he gave Milner good kicking which was needed today.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
