Incredible performance from Zab today. I don't think I have ever see such a short player win so many headers in and around his six yard box!

Not only that but his tackling, attacking play and reading of the game were exemplary.

Top top performance!

So glad he got the nod today - he would even do a great job in midfield

Utterly brilliant today, covering, heading, tackling, he was fucking everywhere. His cross in the first minute was fantastic and not one player was attacking the near post.

Dead on mate, and even when moved he comes up trumps. Carlos got MotM at the game but we all agreed that Zaba was King; understandable why managers love him.

Zab deserves a special mention definately as he stood out alot more.

Toure was opened up by Carew on a number of occasions and Bridge v Young was so one sided, it was watch through fingers time.

Toure will be a squad member next year I reckon, he gives me the fucking hump too many times watching him at the back...Im sick of screaming at him.

I don't think he's fit. Well down on pace today. Carew wasn't moving very fast at all to get onto that ball & still beat him.

There were many individual mistakes in the defence, particularly 1st half today but I fully expected that to happen if we attacked more, there's still a lot of work to do on the back 4 & it's been hidden by the fact that we've played so many negative games & protected them. It was the same with Dunne & his bald mate; when Villa went forward & left them without help, extra they were falling apart by the end & lucky not to let more in.

We defended the set plays really well though, as well as I've seen v a strong aerial team . If we can deal as well with Crouch & co at set plays it'll take a lot out of Spurs as a force.

Great performance from him today.I like Zabaleta always does his best and is very versatile.
My major concern with him is his control of his tackles or lack thereof.Hes by no means a dirty player he does not look for trouble but he does not always time his tackles very well and ends up giving away needless frees.

Great performance from Zab today. He has really improved over the last few months and has cut out the silly, needless fouls which were so common in his game before.

His tackling and heading were superb today. Definitely MOM for me.

Does Mancio get any credit for cooling his tackles?

Just love the guy's enthusiasm. He really isn't a tall guy but does win plenty of headers , would through a brick wall for you and it may not always be the case but he seems to play well against good players. Wasn't it last year he had Young in his pocket?
That would be why he went to the other wing and Bridge did struggle with him bigtime.
