I agree, but this is a pointless thread.

Absolute steal at £6 million. Been great since he came in at centre half.

Not pointless, we had a thread for Zabs and Vieira, I think Kompany was brilliant and defo deserves his own thread. With any luck we can get him a good partner in the summer and Kompany can make the step up to captain.

It isn't pointless and he is mint. He is looking more and more like a top drawer centre half with each game.

Don't mind Mark, he doesn't do much other than start threads so he can get a bit arsey when other people have the audiacity to do it.

Exactly my thoughts. Either Lescott can step it up, or another pairing but from what i've seen in the last two months, Kompany is def our best shout for captain. In my opinion he has the potential to be one of the best centerbacks in the world, and that isn't even with the blue tinted glasses on.

Pretty certain they had to balance the books to the tune of £30M, hmm...can't remember what they bought with the money though.

This thread to me is Pointless, and that's my opinion, simple as that. 'He's Mint' followed by ...'Vincent Kompany, he's a class act.' is hardly a reason to strat a new thread now is it? I agree with what he's trying to say, but a little more effort into the thread would have been appreciated.
