true legend
"I scored after 19 minutes a "bluemoon" goal - David White picked it up, he saw me standing alone, he crossed and I hammered it home. The moon had turned gold"

After the game, he was skipping and punching the air like a ten year old. A huge grin on his face.

Think I must be the only one who can't fucking stand him. Cringe everytime I hear one of his 'match reports' on the radio.

Goes way overboard with the self depreciating humour as well, I know as City fans over the years we have to be able to laugh at ourselves but he seems to revel in it. Genuinely don't think he would know what to say if we achieve any sort of success.

That's exactly it Ant. I long for the day when Tim Westwood does our post match reporting. Innit.

I find him a bit embarrassing, if I'm to be honest. Nice to have someone who is erudite amongst all the usual thickoes, but his banging on about "The Theatre of Base Comedy" over the decades has done us no favours at all.

I think he epitomizes the self deprecating humour that has made City fans a cut above for years. Barely anyone gets one over on us cause we are too damn good at making fun of ourselves, sadly this is something I have noticed waning in the last couple of years as we get very serious about our success.
