Brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to find a city fan and hug him.

That what the club was all about. One of those type of games every season made people love us.

And winning games like that regularily is what makes people hate us now. I like this new version to be honest.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I can still remember everything about that day, i could'nt belive we were down 3-0 at half time and then Barton getting sent of was just the icing on the cake i remember thinking how can this get worse. Then i said to my dad if we can get one early in the second half we might have a chance, never did i think we would turn it around in normal time and win like we did what a game.

I remember the evening all too fucking well

I have been to WHL to see City play Spurs umpteen times and I think my record was something stupid like 2 draws and a long line of defeats (and I'm still not over 1981 which was my first ever City game and I think the root of my Spurs hatred as they broke my 7 year old heart that day at Wembley).

My mate had taken itself upon himself to get a ticket for him and a few others (incl me) for this. I refused to go saying that I couldn't take another trip to Seven Sisters to see us get turned over yet again. So, I arranged to play squash just near Old Street with another friend.

Half time came and I checked the internet on my phone whilst having a breather and saw that we were 3-0 down and now minus Sir Joseph.

"thank fuck I didn't go" thinks I....

Finish the squash and am just walking past a pub and see that the match is just finishing...."wonder what the final score was" I think and pop my head in to be greeted with the frankly farcical 3-4 scoreline.

I proceeded to walk out and start kicking a rubbish bin in fucking sheer cunty frustration

Typical fucking City

Which game was it when he scored a free kick from about 50 yards which changed direction three or four times in mid-air?

Anelka went off injured, too. He was our Goal Machine at the time. It just adds to the spectacular performances. Keegan was definitely ripe for the sack had we not won.

Watched it in a Boozer on Oxford Road and this old Geezer on crutches had left at Half Time. I saw him about a mile up the road after final whistle and he asked me the final score... I don't think he believed me until he'd checked for himself on Teletext when he got home.

Pretty sure it was against Blackburn...2005?

The 4-3 didn't mean anything in the grand scheme but its up there with the Goat robbing chuckle and 99 for me on the all time scale.

I was 12 years old and cried like a baby when Macken scored that header. Will never ever forget that game.

I remember watching the first half while talking to my girlfriend at the time on the phone, every time a goal went in she'd have a good old chuckle at my rants and when half time came and barton went off, i was the closest i've ever been to turning off a city match in utter disgust but luckily i said goodbye to the then missus, and thought bollocks to it, it can't get any worse and i was right, not worse but better, so so much better, possibly the greatest half of football i've ever seen to this day!

We should NEVER have been able to turn it around, yet we did! Amazing amazing stuff! I was unbelievably proud to be a blue that night i can tell you!

Just at half time, I love the bit Tyler comes out with... "and Tottenham have made the second half, academic"
