Man of the Match tonight.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Man of the Match tonight.

Postby svengali » Wed May 05, 2010 9:42 pm

Right, im pissed off, as is everyone else but who was our man of the match tonight?

Fulop for me. Several great saves and was fucking unlucky for their goal. He had to adjust in a split second to plam it away and of all the peoples head for it to land on it would be the lanky streak of piss that is peter crouch. Anyone else and its clearing them.

fulop, if it wasnt for him it would have been 3. the defending was appaling at times.

barry was good untill he got injured as well. that was the turning point for me.

Fulop closely followed by Toure.

Fulop. Thought Barry and De Jong were very strong today as well.

Sadly we aren't considering any of our attacking players for MotM. I agree Barry was doing a really good job knitting midfield together and was within a whisker of setting up the first goal. NDJ was also good in his usual way but I think Fulop just about takes it for me.

Fulop was only really needed after Barry went off. Before that they had one shot on target and that was something anyone would have saved.

Barry for me. I hope he's not seriously injured. We have got a game on Sunday.

Good performances from Kompany Barry De Jong and Zabs, but I thought Fulop got it for me, even managing to keep out a deflected shot (though they scored from the rebound)

Can I just say in defence of Guv I think he has been drinking and shouldn't be banned. It's also a highly emotional night and that should be considered.

Personal abuse, surely a banning offense? I am complaining to the mods about this incase they havent seen it already - you have offended my delicate sensibilities and I demand action.

Edit: I'm actually quite liberal when it comes to forums so wasn't being serious, I can't remember the last time I felt offended by anything, and would just report it if I was, rather than posting about it.

If fulop hadn't of palmed the ball into the most dangerous area of the pitch then i'd have given it to Musampa
