Will Tevez Stay? / What is wrong with the team?

Reading the mancini thread, my opinion on him is similar to hughes. I dont think he is the right man for us based on how he bottles every big game is too defensive minded. IMO he lacks this winning mentality. BUT we do need stability. We seem to have gone backwards in that we are not a team.

I would stick with mancini, but then it annoys me that most blues think (even know) that he wont cut it and we'll fuck him off in a year or so, so why not do it now if someone as around.

My BIGGEST issue with him is that tevez may go. Tevez has turned to shite the last few games. So our 2 best players appear to want to leave because of manini. So who actually likes mancinis style of play? Hes made one signing and he was dog shite.

I just dont see why we cant score for beans anymore. I heard many blues saying how well we played last night, yet dont remember a single shot. We dont have any chances in these important games.

Mancini has some utter tosh to deal with though.

Adebayor is a lazy twat and must go.
Along with:
TOURE
BRIDGE
Vieira
RSC

and we need to play a formation that is not; 2 DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS.............. BIG OPEN SPACE........... WINGERS AND LAZY STRIKER.

Has it ever occurred to you that Mancini is so defensive minded because he has no choice given the players we have especially in midfield?

If we did get rid of Mancini, who would we get instead that's guaranteed to do better? Surely we'd just be replacing him with someone of a similar ability?

I know what - I'll spend all day jumping from one thread to the next pointing out that we have no creativity in the middle of the park and that leaves our strikers having to drop deep, thus tiring them.

That sounds like fun... but not as much fun as giving out about the second best strike partnership in the country...

so carry on.

Exactly. We need to stop pissing about with all these managers and show some faith!

I agree, but its the fact that he gets it wrong when it matters and is too defensive. I dont think weve had a manager thats like that for years. He shows no ambition. Do we really want him for any potential cup finals?!

? adebayor was and has been absolutely wank recently. He showed no effort at all, won ZERO headers and jogged offside too many times too count. I dont want players that dont want city, end of. We dont need them. An adebayor without effort is worthless. Compare his start to the season vs. now. Id rather have big phil banging them in!

Tevez and bellamy have also turned too shit recently and something seems up. So what is the best striker partnership we have?

I can see players like tevez and ireland staying, but being unhappy and the result would be more games like last night.

After United, we have the best strike partnership in the best league in the world.

We need an attacking midfielder so they don't have to keep dropping deep when are wing options are being nullified.

I can't evertain anything else at the minute... certainly not the prospect of calling one or both of said players "shit"

Tevez looks tired for the last few games and I'm not suprised - he's shouldered the majority of our season and has had to be both creative mid and finisher. If both had a stevie ireland from last season sitting behind them they'd score even more.

Actually, I wouldn't be suprised if after the last game, we ended up with the most successful strike partnership in the entire leage this season.

Keep an eye on that one now won't you?
